Capable leaders understand the bright line between expertise and policy making. Experts have a silo view of the world, focused on their narrow area of expertise, while sound policy making requires a broad view of reality. Neither Fauci, nor Psaki nor most leftists have any clue about this. Fauci being given the authority to make policy has been a disaster, obviously, even though he is most likely a competent bug hunter who should stay in the lab.

He thinks his personal whims and delusions should trump reality.

Uh, science is predictable 100% of the time. Medicine is not. Different people have different responses, therefore medicine is an art. Fauci deceives by insinuating that vaccines are science when they are not since different people react differently to the vaccines.
“Expertise” is the operative word here since it has lost all objective context, isn’t it?
However, one can connect Fauci with expertise in lying, scientific fraudulence and mass murder. So he has that. Otherwise, he’s professionally homeless.
If they were honest about it, “gender affirming” care would mean giving the same sex hormones instead of cross-sex hormones.
My son was 2-1/2 standard deviations off the normal growth curve for most his life before puberty. His body produced growth hormone (and testosterone as puberty approached) but somehow his body couldn’t utilize it properly. We had to give him “extra” so that he could grow and mature correctly. Thank God we had an excellent pediatric endocrinologist, and not one of these gender bending activists that are common now.
He has had power for over a year.

Sorry, but I can’t focus on anything like the infinite number of numbers following pi’s decimal point—except on March 14, of course. My mind’s occupied with more important matters—like dreaming about the moonlight on the Wabash, that sort of thing.
