Hospitalization rates for unvaccinated children ages 5 to 11 were twice as high as among those who were vaccinated during the record COVID-19 surge caused by the omicron variant, according to a U.S. study released on Tuesday.

It found that among the 397 children who were hospitalized with COVID when omicron was dominant, 87% were unvaccinated, one third had no underlying medical conditions, and 19% were admitted to an intensive care unit.

My two nephews had covid in late December..the 15 month old got it from his eye doc appt and brought it home to everyone else..he had fever for 2 days tops and was done with it, the 6 yr old at the time had fever for 3 days and was done with it..their Dad had high fever for 1 day and was done with it..only their Mom was vaccinated and she couldnt smell or taste for weeks.

Isn’t that obvious though? Most children aren’t vaccinated and then there’s “with” or “because” of COVID. If it’s “with”, where they’re going into a hospital for some other reason but test positive for COVID, then the “% being unvaccinated” is going to be high due to low vax rates in that group.

So it should be expected.

My Comment on this piece of Fake News: In the first two weeks following initial ‘vaccination’, children suffering vaccine injury and/or illnesses post vax are classified as ‘unvaccinated.’ Most adverse reactions/injuries occur in those two first weeks after ‘vaccination’, so that’s one of the many ways they manipulate the numbers to lie, lie lie about the damage and uselessness of the ‘vaccine.’

Other instances - they just don’t ask the vaccinated for their vaccination status and record them as unvaccinated (according to nursing staff). Oht here are many ways they lie to conceal the harm done by the ‘vaccine’.

2 they say that they had covid ‘when omicron ewas dominant’ THEREFORE you don’t know if they had omicron OR covid-

3: No deaths were stated- Did any die? We can’t know because article neglects mentioning that-

4: WHY were the 19% in critical care? Did these children have underlying diseases and health conditions? Were they in critical care for other reasons? Article doesn’t say-

4: Did they have Delta? Covid 19? Omicron? We’ll never know because the ‘reporter’ didn’t do their homework well-

5: Article states that ‘one third had NO underlying medical conditions, which means that 2/3’rds did- Were those the ones that went to ICU? We will never know- because again, sloppy reporting- We aren’t even told what variety of virus they had-

What percent of children age 5-11 were vaccinated during that time period?

You’d need to know that in order to draw any conclusions regarding the 387 included in the study.

For example, if 90% of all children age 5-11 were unvaccinated, the finding that 87% of the 387 hospitalized were unvaccinated would indicate that their vaccination status had no bearing on whether or not they were hospitalized.

I would add that these figures amount to about 72 ICU visits nationwide, about 1.5 per state in that age group, out of how many millions of kids in that group? And there is the question of how many in that group had severe vaccine reactions.
