I LOVE the way you transition between deeply religious threads and war porn!
If they lead from the front, might be a sign of how differently the Russians lead as compared to NATO
Don’t get angry, I’m simply replying to your post. I’m not sure who your god is the King of Peace, or the god of war?
The AP sure seems intent on trying to prove their Russian general stories with more stories, as their AP nose grows longer and longer.
Looking forward to them publishing a copy of the death certificate, perhaps some insight into the reading of the last will and testament, what the wifey and kids are up to, etc.
The Putinettes sure do get bent out of shape and news reports that don’t glorify their beloved Mother Russia.

No russian generals died. Ok, maybe some, but the moskva didn’t sink. Ok well..
Same ol’ claptrap loser talk.
He was buried twice?
Sometimes thread titles are hard to understand
Yep, you lead from the front.
That is a very odd comment.
More generals will die in the weeks ahead along with tens of thousands of Ukrainian soldiers who will perish in the Donbas.
Zelensky will fight to the very last Ukrainian lest his corruption be exposed.
Love how you Pootie fans are so bent out of shape that Ukrainian's are determined to fight Russian invaders. Where are all the ethnic Russians in Ukraine, Putin was saving from the evil Ukrainian regime?
Hi,
Over the years here at Free Republic, I have noticed your replies on posts and have generally enjoyed reading your writing (much more than many others here).
But something has changed for you and not for the better. The snarkiness and insults have taken over your writing and it is not becoming. I try to use posters’ responses to help me draw conclusions on issues - their interpretations of the news can be insightful.
But you have really changed from writing intelligent and thought provoking posts into being insulting and sarcastic.
It is not a good look.
It is quite obvious that you feel strongly in your position on the conflict, but your comments now add little to the debate. I’m looking forward to the old JonPreston returning.

General officers shouldn’t need to lead from the front on a modern battlefield. That is what NCO’s and junior, company, and field grade officers are supposed to do.
The problem is that the Russians do not have an Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) corps remotely like the US (or any other Western army) has.
The responsibilities of Sergeants in the US Army fall on Junior officers who don’t have the experience of your average US NCO. This causes a ripple effect up the chain of command.
uh, Zelensky isn’t the cause of all the resistance, dummy
from multiple Russian words & actions, Ukrainians know that if they surrender, the Russians will just kill them all anyways
so, might as well take out as many Russian invaders and equipment as possible!!
