Oil and gas exec slams Biden’s energy policies, warns ‘will compound problem’ amid crisis

TIM STEWART: I realize that the Secretary of Interior is very much on message with the rest of the Biden administration…which is we all pay 50% more for 80% less…she was very clear that's what she was going to do for those oil and gas operators who were interested in doing work on federal lands, that we should be prepared to pay about 50% more in royalties and other fees that we already pay. At the same time, we're only going to have access to about 20% of the current acreage that we have put forward to the secretary as potential oil and gas opportunities for us.

It goes to this fundamental question of when we're in a crisis like this, is this policy, will it do anything to increase production? And the answer is no…actually it will compound the problem. We have a short-term production shortfall right now. The Secretary's actions that she announced yesterday will push this problem out three, five, seven, 10 years.

It is just so he can blame high oil prices on the oil producers. Just because he “approves” mor land for production doesn’t mean they can actually produce oil. All off shore rigs have been sent elsewhere. Land based rigs and employees take time. And all resources have been moved out of country or shut down.

Normally when prices are high, the oil companies have fat production and construction budgets. Its good news in the oil business, they start building and drilling like crazy, which means fat contracts for engineers and builders and jobs for drillers and operators.

But that money is going somewhere. It isn’t going to sit in the bank. If they can spend it in the US, they will. If they can’t, they’ll spend it developing someone else’s oilfields and building refineries for someone else, and someone else’s people will be going to work.

I’m sure Sleepy Joe is being advised by oil and gas expert Hunter Biden.

The Biden administration is not serious about ramping up energy production. They play games and in the end the average American loses because of stupid Democrat policies

That is 100%, 'take it to the bank' TRUE. By instituting massive cuts in the amount of acreage available to lease, AND across-the-board royalty rate increases, the Democrats are announcing "WE WANT AMERICAN GAS PRICES TO KEEP GOING UP!"

Everyone has been worried about World War Three starting in Ukraine - heck, Joe Biden & his party have flat out declared war on the American people, right here at home. It might be wise for Americans to start noticing that simple fact...

IT IS A TAX. IT IS PASSED ON TO THE CONSUMER IN THE FORM OF HIGHER PRICES.

THE GOOBERMENT IS YOUR ENEMY. AT LEAST HALF OF YOUR FELLOW CITIZENS ARE TO BLAME FOR THIS GOOBERMENT.

Yeah, I’m pissed.

The government is the biggest profiteer of the oil industry not the oil companies.
From 1977 to 2004 oil companies made $630 billion and paid $518 billion in federal taxes an average of 45%percent tax rate.
And for the bonus round received $1.34 trillion in excise fuel taxes.
Shit for brains Biden try’s to blame the oil companies for gouging.
