The problem in a nutshell.
70 years of pounding the fact that they have black skin and it’s become them.
Their racism is the core of their problem.
Maybe they should trust try being people instead of being BLACK people. No one else cares nearly as much as they do.
Black racism is a massive issue America has to deal with.
And all because the British loved sugar and rum but were too lazy to grow/process it themselves.
As I am growing older, I am starting to have thoughts along the lines that maybe, just maybe Robert C. Byrd was correct.
So, their skin tone is more important than most if not all other characteristics. Hmm.
I think I see a (superficial) problem.
I am of light skin tone, white/ Caucasian if you will. If my focus culturally socially and personally were my skin tone/ amount of melanin/ “color”, would not I be a racist, fundamentally?
I’m having trouble grasping this concept.
Now if only white people could figure this out about their own identities...
Maybe why so many blacks think whites sit around all day thinking about how to oppress them.
Growing up, I never thought much about race. I was a teenager in the 80’s, had a few black friends, but never thought of them as different than me. Of course, I noticed that they were black, but it didn’t change the way I interacted with them or change the way I felt about them. I felt that the feeling was mutual.
Today, I feel like I always need to be on my toes around African-Americans. I feel that the Democrats have done an amazing job of making division in society...not that there wasn’t division before...they have just multiplied it. The African-American community has no one to blame but the party that has always betrayed them.
The word black appears about 25 times in that short excerpt of the article. That confirms the central point of the article.
The democrats encourage this kind of narrow thinking so they can control blacks better. Democrats tell them that Whitey is keeping them down, and that if they will just vote democrat Whitey will be made to pay, and they can blame Whitey for their failures.
Like you need a “poll” to know this?
Good. Now if we could only get them to identify as ‘black separatists’ we could all peacefully go our own way.
Weird. I identify as “human,” but who am I to judge?
“Black” is a political term designed to create unity where there is actual considerable diversity.
False unity is absolutely required to maintain the keystone to the Democrat control of the City States.
If the Afro Heritage minority-minority grows even a little, the democrat party is toast. CNN has acknowledged the fact
Individual American or member of a grievance class?
You pick.
This is why Blacks will never vote Republican, the leaders of their race tell them to vote for Democrat, so they vote Democrat no matter what, to do otherwise would betray their race.
An additional undisclosed bit of information is the mindset of the 24% of blacks who were not in the "extremely" or "very" categories. It leaves me wondering if this was left out to minimize how big an issue this really is. How many other adverbs were used in the survey and what were they? What were the percentages for them?
Let's play "What if" and guess that the remaining adverbs were "important", "moderately important", "low importance" and "not at all". What if "low" and "not at all" came in at a combined 10%. Would it be fair to say that 90% of black Americans consider being black to have a significant importance in how they think about themselves? Wouldn't this also cause an enormous impact on how blacks view other blacks? On how blacks view all other races?
I don't think that way ... at all. I was raised to view myself and others as individuals, and based upon the content of their character. This is why CRT is such poison. Instead of ensuring people think of themselves as individuals, personally responsible, inherently valuable, children of God, with infinite potential, we enmire ourselves in: black=oppressed and white=oppressor. It seems that the left has been successful in convincing most of black America they are oppressed. I pray the left will never convince America that white=oppressor. They are trying awfully hard to do so.
