Biden reassures Polish president of ‘sacred’ commitment to NATO’s Article 5 as invasion fears loom

President Biden on Saturday sought to reassure Polish President Andrzej Duda that NATO would respond in lockstep if Russia expands its war beyond Ukraine and launches an attack on Poland.

Mr. Biden underscored the U.S. commitment to Article 5 of the NATO charter, which spells out that an attack on one member of the alliance must be met with a collective response from all the members.

The comments come amid fears that Russia could expand its aggression into Poland, which is a member of the 27-country NATO alliance.

Frankly, I think Russia is afraid of getting stomped by NATO. Imagine that 40 mile convoy in flames. He knows we could do it.

If Biden is promising, Poland can be assured they are on their own...

Russia is a paper tiger.

It's time for NATO to close its doors.

Let the Europeans handle Russia themselves.

I’m not so sure the rest of NATO members would get off their collective asses, and simply wait for good old uncle Sam to do the heavy lifting

NATO is a waste of money. No American should be forced to pay or die to protect some European country.

Imagine that 40 mile convoy in flames

Imagine if Americans were concerned about the invasion on our Southern border?

Oh God, he’s mingling among the Ukranian refugees right now. He’s handling little girls. Wish they’d keep the kids away from him.

Well according to the Zelenskyy and Azov fan boys, Russia is “getting their butt kicked.” How can they be a threat to Poland? 🤣

Be afraid, Poland. Be very afraid.

If those coming across our Southern border were voting Republican, the border crisis would be solved in less than a year...

Fortunately, his handlers only let him mingle with the little girls for a few minutes. Perhaps it was because of what he might try to do, or perhaps it was because reporters started asking him questions.

One reporter asked “What do you think of Putin now?” He responded “He’s a butcher”. That was when his handlers grabbed him away and said to the reporters “That’s all - thank you very much!”

Nothing feeds the military industrial complex like a well maintained stalemate. Ukraine and Russia will get participation awards. No Victor will be permitted. Even after an end there will be separatists engaged in unrest and violence. This is going to go on for years now.

“Russia is a paper tiger. It’s time for NATO to close its doors. Let the Europeans handle Russia themselves.”

This is why the elite want to escalate the war. They fear everyone is noticing that NATO no longer serves a purpose.

We could but we wouldn’t. Putin can take the Baltic States and Poland by issuing another nuclear threat if NATO intervenes. It won’t surprise me if Putin doesn’t pop a small nuke in Ukraine to put an exclamation point on his current nuke threat. That would send NATO running for the tall grass.
