Seven days into the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine, it remains unclear how many casualties Russia has sustained.
The Ukrainian government said on March 2 the “indicative” number of Russia’s losses stands at 5,840 people. Russia has only admitted it had any losses four days after it started the war, and had not given any numbers.

I admit, I didn’t even read it, but if true why the hell hasn’t Ukraine declared victory yet? Everybody keeps saying Russia was so tought the war should be over by now. I susppose you could apply the same reasoning vice versa.
“In particular, she mentions that ‘just 18 out of 150 guys survived,’ probably meaning one of the brigade’s formations was destroyed by Ukrainian troops. “
So many Russian units in the first days of the war rolled into Ukraine without a proper order of battle. Expecting to be seen as liberators they instead were slaughtered.
Russia seems to have learned from its costly mistakes, but many young Russians paid with their lives to give their generals an education.
To Southern Siberia? Not bloody likely.
Wow!
So verifiable!
THIS is the basis of this story. Kiev newspaper obtains whatsapp audio of woman from Siberia.
Bkmk
Is the Ukrainian version of Sputnik. They were pushing that 'Ghost of Kiev' fairy tale as real for a while, I can't take anything they say seriously.
The narrative will out.
Tought?
Can you help me with a tranlation of that comrade?
Ok. I admit it. I left the message lol
We’re gonna need more sunflower seeds!
Um, thart's kind of how the Red Army always rolled. That's why the Soviets lost 5 times as many soldiers as the Nazis and won Operation Barbarossa. Putin doesn't care about dead Chechen "generals" or pimple-faced privates. Blood is cheap, and Russians are patient in the face of horrific casulaties, at least if the overall goal is progressing. This is going to go on for a LONG time.
I don’t believe it
Gawd, the disinformation just cascades out of Ukraine. Considering what the entire world thought of the capabilities of the Russian military up until this week, this Tass recap appears to be the most legit I’ve seen yet. The Russians have had the Ukrainian military blinded for a few days now (just the we do it). I believe absolutely nothing reported in the Western press. This press scam is to be expected. Covid, duly elected Biden, Adolf Trump, nothing but lies. Tass has more credibility than the Western press today period. Hell, they even admit Trump was robbed.

This is a big reason why Putin appears poised to impose martial law on Friday.
To be able to suppress news of casualties from spreading in Russia.
It’s all so incredibly sad.
It’s a complete and utter horror for the people of Ukraine. The death of so many people and the destruction of much of the country and some of their finest cities.
But ordinary Russians are beginning to see that this is going to be a horror for them as well.
All for the paranoid fantasies of a gangster/career secret policeman who imagines himself achieving eternal fame as the founder of a new Russo-Slavic empire.
........... The Canon Fodder are sent in First ...... They are FNG’s .... They are Expendable ....
Almost as believable as Russia causing the Jan 6th “riots” and 5 cops getting killed.
The Kyiv Independent obtained a WhatsApp audio message recorded by a woman residing in the city of Aleysk in Russia’s Altai region some 3,500 kilometers east of Kyiv, the home base for the 35th Brigade.
That’s the source you automatically believe? Incredible! Do you suppose during this turkey shoot that one of the hundreds of these weapons the Russians have available just might have shown up? Or did the “ghost of Kiev” take them all out too?

There was heavy fighting around Chernihiv but Russian troops have been unable to take it.
They appear to have decided to bypass it for the time being while hitting it with missiles and bombs. Ukraine said the Russians sent two cruise missiles into a hospital in Chernihiv.
Among Russian POWs captured by Ukrainian forces in the battle were troops from Samara and Orenburg. Local residents have claimed that almost 200 dead bodies of Russian officers and soldiers were collected in the area.
