Pictures have emerged from the streets of Ukraine showing the smouldering wrecks of Russian tanks destroyed amid brutal urban fighting as Putin's invasion of his neighbour continues.
Huge convoys of Russian armour have rumbled into several Ukrainian cities, only to be met with fierce resistance as well-armed troops used a mixture of their own and NATO-supplied anti-tank weapons to wreak havoc on the invaders.
Some of the most shocking images of the devastation inflicted on Russian armour came from the town of Bucha on the outskirts of Kyiv, where an entire column of tanks and armoured vehicles were obliterated.
Taken yesterday, the pictures show how the burnt-out husks and charred debris from the vehicles had completely blocked one of Bucha's main roads, a mere 20 miles from the centre of the capital.

“Photoshop is a major battleground in this ‘war’.
The weaponry of choice is video/photos and Tostidos.”
You’re not kidding.

I’ve seen vehicles burn in the streets of El Salvador without damaging any of the surrounding structures. Of course gas vehicles burn differently than diesel and kerosine. I took a photo once of a Chevy van completely engulfed in flames in Colonia La Mascota, San Salvador, El Salvador and could have presented it as guerrilla war related but it was just a General Motors quality control issue. It started smoking, the driver and passengers got out, and then the flames appeared and consumed it. Another time I saw a diesel bus set on fire by the guerrillas but it was not an impressive fire compared to the Chevy. Shaped charges on RPGs can cause secondary explosions from low grade fuels due to the violent ignition ... It is not like putting a match to JP8 fuel.
One tree in the foreground. All others seem to be charred.
“They blowed up real good!”
Apparently, denial isn’t just a river in Africa.
LOL @ you
The two burning items were homes. Assumedly torched by the Russians.
Sure. Lots of vehicle fires in streets burn with damaging other property.
But the pics being presented here show the scene to be an ally.
Not as wide as street, numerous structures and objects just a couple of feet away.
The heat generated by steel fires is far greater than let’s say wood, or plastic.
Steel can and does burn but it requires much higher temps.
The pics show steel did ignite and burn.
I don’t doubt it’s earl...just wondering from what year and how long they have been out there.. Looks like they rusted awfully fast
I have heard that Russian soldiers are poking holes in their gas tanks to disable their vehicles. Once again, don’t know if this is true. Sure hope so.
Today is March 2nd, 2022. That Russian equipment sure does rust out fast.
Go get him!
Alley
It’s the Russians… those tanks were probably already rusted before the invasion.
The two burning items were homes.

Not the image I saw - burning items were on the road.
Correct.
I bet it drove some people nuts.
My bad.
“Ok so the Ukraine doesn’t need anyone’s help then right? They are handling it just fine without NATO membership.”
You are paying attention. The old women bregaide, super models and video game ace are kicking Russia’s butt. Don’t forget the old lady planring gardens on dead Ukrainian soldiers.
They do not have unlimited resources and have to pick their battles - or do you not understand that? The column is harmless were it is -
Hard to tell who’s hardware that is.
