$250K worth.
Lots of grad students come from wealthy families.

I’ve recently watched the Tinder Swindler and Inventing Anna on Netflix.
They both got their money from people who didn’t have it to give. The Tinder guy got women to get loans. Anna used a friend’s work AMEX card and ran up $62,000.
I don’t understand it.

I don’t understand why a woman like that needs to go online to find ‘love’ in the first place.

How does a 29 year old grad student have enough money to con out of? Rich parents who read her too much of Disney's version of Cinderella and not enough of Jemima Puddle-Duck.

How does a 29 year old grad student have enough money to con out of? She conned it out of thousands of men using the same dating sites, as millions of other women are also doing.
This is just so much irony.
