When less than half the students would recommend the course it means more than half the students are saying "don't waste your time".

Literally should be fired, this was way more than a violation. This is a supposedly highly educated enlightened professor, fully competent of understanding the faculty policies.

I like to call on students. I do this randomly. When I hear, “can you repeat the question,” I ask the student to state the question as best as they can. If there is yet no response, I mark the student absent.
A lot of sociology professors experience “impostor syndrome.”
Going woke is one way they can sublimate those feelings.
I don’t know what is more outrageous, this idiot teachers racism or that students would actually take her class.
