I liked it better when it was just about Washington and Lincoln, but the left wants to cancel them as well.

Lincoln’s birthday was never a Federal holiday. Many states honored it, but not FedGov. The proper name of the holiday is Washington’s Birthday even though it is only occasionally on his actual birthday.

Fun fact, the day he was born, the calendar read February 11, 1731. This was the old Julian calendar. Britain added 11 days to the calendar when it and its colonies shifted to the Gregorian calendar. Britain also moved New Years Day from March 25 back to January 1. So we now say he was born on February 22, 1732.
