According to a report just filed by Special Counsel John Durham, lawyers for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign paid a technology company to “infiltrate” servers belonging to Trump Tower and the White House in order to fabricate a narrative connecting Donald Trump to Russia.
Durham’s filing focuses on potential conflicts of interest related to the representation of Michael Sussman, a former lawyer for the Clinton campaign. Sussman has been charged with making a false statement to a federal agent. He has pleaded not guilty.
The indictment against Sussman alleges that he told then-FBI General Counsel James Baker, less than two months before the 2016 presidential election, that he was not working “for any client” when he requested a meeting in which he provided the FBI with “purported data and ‘white papers’ that allegedly demonstrated a covert communications channel” between the Trump Organization and the Kremlin connected Alfa Bank.
In a section of Durham’s filing titled “Factual background,” it is revealed that Sussman “had assembled and conveyed the allegations to the FBI on behalf of at least two specific clients, including a technology executive (Tech Executive 1) at a U.S.-based internet company (Internet Company 1) and the Clinton campaign.”
Durham’s filing says Sussman’s “billing records reflect” that he “repeatedly billed the Clinton campaign for his work on the Russian Bank-1 allegations.”

Assuming hacking into someone else’s private server is a crime, shouldn’t there be arrest warrants pending?

Durham began in May, 2019 and is now beginning to get up to speed.
Hillary will shortly repeat: ‘What difference, at this point, does it make?’
Seriously, though, whenever some dark secrets are coming out let’s hear them.
How about hacking into the private servers at the White House?

The fact that the entire top tiers of both the FBI and DOJ were in on it takes it so far above Watergate as to make it look like jaywalking.
4 years late and a dollar a short. Nothing will come of it.

Is it too late for Hillary to engage in the work she is best known for? Assisted Suicide, or as is euphemistically known as “Arkancide”?
That with all the evidence we have and they do nothing should give you a good idea where this is going.
The Republic was over at noon on January 20, 2009.
What has happened since all flows from that fatal error.

Yet the perpetrators will be on TV tomorrow, howling purple faced about Trump spitting on a sidewalk. Without an iota of shame.

Not to totally dispute you, but it sounds like you are thinking the government has never failed or done the wrong thing before.
The most re-written part of the US Constitution is the selection of the President. They couldn’t get it right while the authors were still alive.
The Republic will see it change again. The fiasco we are living through will make it a requirement.
