Virginia Supreme Court throws out challenge to Youngkin mask order

The Virginia Supreme Court rejected a challenge to Gov. Glenn Youngkin's executive order allowing parents to opt out of school mask mandates Monday, handing the governor a major legal victory.
The court's ruling dismissed a lawsuit filed by a group of parents in Chesapeake, Virginia, who had sued the governor over his Day One executive order allowing parents to opt their children out of school mask mandates, saying the governor was obligated by state law to mandate them. The court ruled Youngkin had no obligation to mandate masks in schools and therefore could not be sued.

However, liberals have gotten very comfortable recently ignoring elections that they didn't win and ignoring court judgments that they don't like.
Youngkin may need to bring them to heel.

....while the city of Chesapeake is not part of The Peoples Democratic Republic of Northern Virginia, it would be my guess that those Karens all have huge letter “Ds” behind their names....no matter if Governor Youngkin walks across the James River on his way to work every morning, these SOBs would have something negative to say about him.....

It seems to this lay person that this lawsuit is not a federal matter. But who in the hell knows what a judge in Hawaii would say!!??
