there is NO ONE in DC who can say no to the neocons/Intel Community. They have had power since at least Bush II, they were able to remove Trump from office, they installed Biden - now they are completely drunk with power.

Reminds me of a guy I had to work for once that had to be the top nerd in high screwl and the one with the “Kick Me” sign hung on his back. When he got the chance he tried to extract his pound of flesh. That was entertaining. I took a bit for decent people who wanted to do their jobs to turn on him but when they did he learned the lesson about viscous compliance. We only did EXACTLY what he told us and he found himself in an army of one. That was fun! It got rid of him and I never shed a single tear of remorse.
It is really stupid to alienate the people responsible for your success. Even dumber to do it to the people responsible for your safety.
