Croatian President Zoran Milanovic has announced that Zagreb will withdraw its troops from NATO contingents stationed in the region if the situation escalates into a full-scale conflict.
Speaking in a televised address on Tuesday, the leader said he saw “reports that NATO – not a separate state, not the United States – is increasing its presence and sending reconnaissance ships.”
He insisted that the Zagreb authorities “have nothing to do with it and we won’t have anything to do with it, I guarantee that.”
“Not only will we not send the army, but if there is an escalation, we will call back to the last Croatian military,” he added. said Milanovic. “It has nothing to do with Ukraine or Russia, it has to do with the dynamics of American domestic politics, [US President] Joe Biden and his administration, which I supported.

Biden/USA will steadily find himself isolated and alone - and made a fool of. Germany has already indicated it wants to part of confrontation with Russia over Ukraine. Even Zelensky in Ukraine has told the Biden neocons to stop with the war-talk - its destroying confidence in the fragile Ukraine economy

This is why NATO is useless, a piss ant small country wants the protections that NATO aka the USA, Biden gets in office and any hint of a conflict causes the piss ant country wants to cut and run
It's hard to know what is really going on. Is the saber-rattling by Putin not really about Ukraine but about trying to force NATO defenses out of the Eastern European countries which joined NATO after the collapse of the Soviet Union? He may be especially unhappy with the fact that the three Baltic countries (annexed by Stalin) are now NATO members.
NATO will fold like a cheap suit.
Translation: We’ve supported Joe Biden in the past because we hated Trump but we can’t support Biden stirring up sh*t between Russia and Ukraine, we didn’t sign up to NATO for that so we are out of active operations for now.
I think Croatia has participated in NATO operations in Afghanistan and maybe Iraq.
Translation: Croatia doesn’t want to fight Russia but still wants all that free cash.
NATO is weak and useless. It seems to be falling apart.
The world sees Biden (and the US) as weak. They watched the Taliban blow up our soldiers as we left and we didn’t do shit but run. Next 3 years are going to be very bad

Funny how the US used to have all sorts of plans all over the world and now has to watch from the porch as the big dogs run.
NATO should be wound down. I think there are 33 member countries, whom basically rely on America for defense. Too much, especially considering main threat is now in the east, China. Europe can have their own military agreements at this point. Just not a fan of America picking up the defense costs of Europe so they can be socialists and look down on us.
Or...NATO isn’t supposed to be offensive in nature. I’d say going right up to the Russian border is fairly seen as an offensive move.
From what I can find. They have 2 battle groups currently active. Poland, and Lithuania. Both have less that 200 personal.
He is saying that this current ‘crisis’ is a Biden Administration “tail wags the dog” situation and neither he nor Croatia will support NATO in Biden’s efforts to push NATO into pulling the news cycles off his current political nightmare.. It makes perfect sense.
They also don’t want to antagonize Serbia’s traditional ally, Russia, and heat things back up between those two countries.

Yes....ESPECIALLY for such a put-up reason as Biden’s incompetency and his political troubles. Biden NEEDS a war now because disaster is coming for him in November..
