Bizarre use of selective editing.

No, DeSantis NEVER said anything approaching, “It was a mistake to ever embrace Donald Trump, and now we want to be the party of Adam Kinzinger.” Nor does this represent anyone associated with the article. The quote, in context, is this:

“There’s simply never going to be a GOP revelation in which the rank and file suddenly decides, “It was a mistake to ever embrace Donald Trump, and now we want to be the party of Adam Kinzinger.” There will be no Bourbon Restoration.”

The question should be, can voter fraud beat De Santis and Trump? We already know the answer to half of that question.

NR doesnt want Trump and so they seek to weaken suppert for him by dividing the votes. It will give us Biden again.

We? No, we are not French (movie reference, Talladega Nights).

I hope so. Ron DeSantis is better than Donald Trump in every measure.

Only if you want a status quo Republican that will work inside the system....

Trump and DeSantis are about equal on the warm & cuddly dimension.

Never-Trump bag-o-bitch weighs in.

You’d think running NR into irrelevance would shut him up.

Why did you cut this part out right before the Adam Kinzinger line? There’s simply never going to be a GOP revelation in which the rank and file suddenly decides,

I’m glad VDH left NR.

I suspect they'll hire Liz Cheney in 2023.

No, but he’d do better than Cruz. I don’t think DeSantis would primary Trump. Too much to lose, not just for himself.

Looks like Free Republic is in love with DeSantis. Just like Free Republic was in love with Ted Cruz in ‘16 primary.
👍👍👍
