How bad are things for Joe Biden? On top of the latest poll showing him with a minuscule 33% approval rating, here comes a certified member of the liberal media noting the similarities between Biden's presidency and that of Jimmy Carter.
On Friday's Morning Joe, Ed Luce was invited to discuss his current Financial Times column, "America's Nagging Echoes of the 1970s." Luce saw parallels in terms of inflation, crime on the rise, and threats from Moscow. But the most dread similarity he drew was:
"The sense of drift, the general sense of drift. The sense we have a president that isn't really master of his destiny."

Even jimmy kept an annoying smile the whole time. Biden is a grumpy cranky version of carter. No redeeming quality.
That 33% controls all government, all schools, all media, and all entertainment.
Its not a ‘drift’. Its a plunge, right into a morass of problems.
It’s Carter’s malaise — squared.

Ah, but there is one significant difference between Carter and Biden. Carter would not start a war to distract the country. On the other hand, Biden is capable of anything.
Or maybe I should say Biden’s handlers are capable of anything.
If they’re drawing parallels to Carter it shows they understand that he has to go IMHO.

At least Carter had all his faculties. In Biden’s case, his staff is running things.
Honestly, I expected Kamila to be running things. It would be easy to do under the circumstances, but she is THAT incompetent. Plus, his staff likely does not want to give up its power.
That's the thing. I don't believe Carter was rock bottom, or if he were, Joe's blasting holes in the rock.
There must be a way to blame this on Trump.

Carter is mostly viewed as incompetent but well-intentioned.
The destruction under the Biden regime is deliberate and would be worse if they could get away with it faster.
To a much greater extent with Biden, we do not know who is really in charge and making decisions.

Big difference: Carter maintained a constant level of being a doofus. Biden, however, is a doofus on a constant downward spiral into dementia.
Carter at least had morals
