Communism hasn’t a clue about what human nature is.

Our Founders understood it completely.

The Harry Harlow Monkey Experiments conducted between 1957-63 definitively showed that after one generation of broken mother-child bonding, all the subsequent generations of monkeys did not or could not achieve effective parenting skills of infant–caregiver relationships henceforth. Basically, all the coming generations were doomed to infant–caregiver failure as the natural cycle of maternal affection and caregiving had been broken and was never passed along thereafter (SCARY!!!).

Central planning. Is there anything it can’t screw up?

“100,000,000 more men than women.”

I think the women are going to have the upper hand for the foreseeable future.

I think the great increase in their standard of living is also contributing to the low birth rate.

All well-to-do countries, like the US and most of Europe are experiencing the same thing.

“I think the women are going to have the upper hand for the foreseeable future.”

You think wrong.
China is the extremely patriarchal and chauvinist society the feminist nitwits accuse us of being. Even with the millions of men needing women there are millions of “leftover women” in China.
The reasons they aren’t married?
Not pretty enough, not smart enough, from a rural family (BIG no-no!), skin too dark and on and on.
Some women wait to get married, bad move. If a woman isn’t married by 25 she has a hard time finding a husband, by 30 they’re done. No chance for marriage.
Check this out.

This guy is all wet. Sorry but guys are always going to strongly prefer younger women to older women and they are always going to strongly prefer women who don’t have some other man’s kid as opposed to single moms. That’s not “silly” or “ridiculous” as he tries to claim. Its normal and natural. It always has been. That is consistent across cultures.

I actually admire that aspect of Chinese culture.....ie they don’t push the feminist BS that women can play the field or put off seriously looking for a man in their 20s and will always be able to find a good man in their 30s. No. Sorry. Not the case. That lie has caused a lot of heartache and loneliness in the West.

“It all comes down to money,” Mr. Liang said. “You cannot change people’s mind or force upon them some kind of value system.”

He estimates that to raise the fertility rate to the replacement level, the government needs to subsidize families by an average of one million yuan, or around $160,000 per child in the form of cash, tax rebates and housing and daycare subsidies.

The money has to come from somewhere and that is the problem. China has no social safety net.

So which CCP official will give up some of his bribe monies to subsidize some peasant family? None. So that will never happen under the CCP.

Bribes are the grease that makes China go round. Military ranks, as mentioned in an earlier story, go for US$1-1.5 million. Want a good doctor? $$$. Want other medical professionals needed for you case? More $$$. Want to enter a good hospital? $$$.

Then there is the problem learned under Mao and now socially "codified" in today's China : pay no attention to other people's plights, lest you become involved, scammed, and sued by the other person. Suing other people, like running scams, is big business in China.

Women and children can be snatched in broad daylight in an area with many other people and no one will interfere and many will go out of their way to not notice. So why should anyone help a family that has lost its sole support? Homeless? Destitute? Not their problem.

“I don’t think we have a lot of room to talk these days.”

But in our country the women AGREED to have their baby murdered... so that makes it much MUCH better....
Right.
