You are correct - electrician.
And I’m 30 bucks/hr. under others.
More kiosks. Reduced hours for dining. Etc. McDonald’s by large had to use technology to save labor costs.
You do realize that skilled labor runs about 3 to 4 times the minimum wage. That means welders, pipe fitters, millwrights and the like will be making between 50 and 60 dollars an hour. Wish I was young enough to go back to work.
And that's a GOOD thing for you.
"No, you don't just reset the breaker after your patio heater trips it for the fourteenth time. It's only a 15-amp residential circuit, and it can't take an 11 amp heater AND a bank of grow lights at the same time."
Stupid title. 20 states are NOT increasing minimum wages. The states are forcing BUSINESSES to increase wages.
Yep, when the minimum wage doubles everything else quadruples. People do not understand that everyone who handles the goods has to go up to cover the increased costs.
Us poor retired people on SS and other are screwed.
We may be going back to work.
With all the gravy being handed out there’s a huge shortage of workers.
Every place in town has a “help wanted” sign these days.
The McDonald’s here has an electronic mini billboard mounted on their Big M street sign. This evening, it was scrolling “Now Hiring Openers and Closers $12/HR.” That’s not Kardashian money, but given the low cost of rent, food, and overhead in this area, it’s enough to keep a roof over your head. For now.
Yeah- no cheese though, because you won’t believe how much that is gonna cost.
I was retired for a few years….went back to work end of September. Was offered a butt load of money by a start up company. I don’t even have to leave my house. And they gave me exactly what I wanted. Made it hard to say no.
Yeah but all the illegals still love them.
When democrats rule never expect anything good to happen turn to history book.
