CNN legal analyst Norm Eisen, who served as a counsel for House Judiciary Committee Democrats during former President Donald Trump’s first impeachment, said Monday on “Newsroom” that pro-Trump allies who gathered at the Willard Hotel on January 6 “were getting ready for a war.”
Eisen said, “The committee is pursuing a mosaic of evidence. All the different bits of evidence, large and small that can tell the story of what happened on January 6, the insurrection and the run-up to the insurrection.”

.....Sure. That's why no weapons of any kind were found among the hundreds arrested on January 6, unless you include a couple Swiss Army knives and a set of toenail clippers.

This guy is one of the key people in Russia Gate. He wrote a Color Revolution regime change manual titled “The Playbook” and then he participated in leading it against Trump. He is a leader in the coup attempt and he is not stopping.

Was President Trump scheduled to arrive at the Whitehouse and put Biden and Jill out in the street? And then rush to the capitol and declare all ballots null and void...because that is what happens in a coup.
What actually happened on Jan 6th was pretty much a riot. And those who were destructive acted totally on their own...not on Trump's or the party's orders.
Preparing for war, but didn’t fire a shot? And how many weapons were found inside the Capitol? Zero, if I recall correctly. There might have been a handful of gun violations among the entire crowd (or might not have been), but these did not involve discharging the weapon, but would have been variations of some unlawful possession law.

They are probably going to cobble-together some Internet tough-talk about CWII in order to make their flimsy case. But you could make as good or better a case by culling the revolutionary tough-talk from the left.

Lousy operation if it was meant to start a war. No guns, ammo, artillery, air cover, supply line, command structure, strategic plan, diversion, timeline, tactical plan, orders, food supply, insertion vehicles, medevac, recon, base support, or Intel. Other than that it was a masterful operation.
Again, if that were truly an insurrection, it was the lamest, most pathetic insurrection in human history. Please.
