A woman suspects she’s being tracked after noticing a number of weird messages on her phone.
TikTok user @angel.edge95 shared her theory in a post that has since received 2.5 million likes.
“I think I’m being tracked,” she said. “The more I post about it, it seems like it’s happening to a lot of people. I don’t know if I’m in danger.”
The user explained that she flew from her Texas home to Maine, and shortly after arriving at the airport, she received an odd message.
Her phone detected an “unknown accessory” near her, presumably an Apple AirTag. She was first notified of it at 8:45 a.m. that day when shopping at a Texas Walmart.
There was an option to “remove” the device, @angel.edge95 said, but when she tried to do so, she received a pop-up that said it was unable to connect to the server.

TikTok user.
Using a ChiCom surveillance app is always a great idea.
This confirms a theory I have.
Spending 24/7 on social media sites leads to paranoia and other social disorders.
Go home. Turn off ALL your computer devices. Read a book.
This transcends TikTok. AirTags are being abused a lot right now.
but that shouldn’t become a rationale to end all technology.
Thanks. What are Air Tags?
Sounds completely untrue to me. More people complaining about victimhood, trying to act important in the world. I don’t believe it.
“I think I’m being tracked”, said the owner of a smart phone, an Alexa, an Echo Dot, a Ring doorbell, etc. SMH.
She’s obviously very astute and concerned about her security - that’s why she uses Chinese SPYWARE like tik tok 🤪
They’re very useful, but I read this morning how the AirTag is used by crooks to follow people home and then steal their cars from their driveways. They stick an Airtag device on the car - usually a luxury car - while it’s parked and then when the person goes home, they can find the car parked in the driveway, use another electronic device (used by mechanics for diagnosing problems) to start and open the car, and then just drive away with it.
I have a Cube (tracker) to find my keys or occasionally some bag I’m carrying, but it’s a bluetooth device with a limited range. The problem with the AirTags is that they have the power of “Find My IPhone” so you can find your device, your car or whatever you attach them no matter where it is. This is a good thing, but of course the creeps will ruin it for us all.
Definite “Hanlon’s Razor” possibility: “never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.”
Lots of stupid people can make the same mistakes, and they can easily see a ‘conspiracy’...
Happens in lots of situations.
They’re little tiles that you can attach to things like your keys or leave in something like a purse to help you find those things in the event they’re lost.

Thanks.
“Apple AirTag.”
see Tim Cook and Xi Jinping.
Carjackers are using Apple AirTags to track high-end vehicles to steal them later https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/4019061/posts
The ultimate stalking song lyrics.
“A fr poster wrote yesterday in another thread that sooner or later every technology ends up being used for evil. These devices should be banned.”
Cars, particularly SUV’s, are evil.
Guns are evil
Knives are evil
Fists are evil
Ban them all!
