Sonia Sotomayor, Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court, raised eyebrows and cast doubt on her fitness for her elevated office during oral arguments over the pending Mississippi abortion case, Dobbs v Jackson Women’s Health.
Constitutional scholars were taken aback by her injection of politics:
“Will this institution survive the stench that this creates in the public perception – that the Constitution and its reading are just political acts?” Sotomayor asked. “I don’t see how it is possible.”
And her casual rejection of the Constitution as the arbiter of Supreme Court decision-making:

Writing in Newsweek, Dr. Grazie Poso Christie, exposes her ignorant declarations:

He said this was due—in part—to 30 years of medical advances. In a piqued, incredulous tone, Sotomayor demanded to know just "What are the advancements in medicine?" As Stewart began to list them, mentioning new knowledge of fetal pain, the Justice abruptly cut him off.

Sotomayor is just another example of the destructive absurdity of giving demented old ladies real power in this culture. Pelosi, Feinstein, Collins, Jackson, Murkowski, Kagan, Yellin, Harris, etc. etc. etc. Doubtful the nation will survive this curse.

Sotomayor demonstrated long ago that she doesn’t have the intellectual rigor to even pretend to be a judge in the federal courts system, much less an appellate judge.
True - but they also realize they have to come up with very well reasoned arguments to justify their decisions. At this point it is going to be very difficult...

They aren’t too bright, either. They were chosen for their lefty credentials and their race/sex/ethnicity, not their judicial expertise.
I’ve seen that face before. Took a long time but Sotomayor reminds me of the Harold Lloyd’s Mother-in-law in HOT WATER.
The only reason this sack was appointed was to check boxes. Kinda like Hillary was supposed to have been elected cause it “was her turn”.
