President Biden this week will host the first-ever Summit for Democracy, which will focus on strengthening democracy, defending against authoritarianism, fighting corruption and promoting human rights.
Biden will deliver the summit’s opening remarks on Thursday and closing remarks on Friday. The virtual gathering is expected to include more than 100 participants from governments, civil society, and the private sector.
Senior administration officials said the summit will put strengthening democracy “on the front burner in terms of the global conversation.”

President Biden this week will host the first-ever Summit for Democracy, which will focus on strengthening democracy, defending against authoritarianism, fighting corruption and promoting human rights. Translation: The summit will be about strengthening a global communist totalitarian authority which will be corrupt as hell and won't give a sh*t about human rights.

Wonder how long before a free country like Poland squawks about human rights abuses in Biden’s DC Gulag?

Do a 180 on the summit description & then you’ll know what they’re REALLY going to talk about.

LOL-—It’s called the Constitution and the 1791 Bill of Rights! Both of which he despises. More Marxist BS....

LOL... Another useless propaganda ploy.

Sounds like a renewed effort to control the media and the narrative. Wonder who thought up this brainchild. We know Biden didn’t.

Joe Biden expressing concern for democracy? Now THERE is a conundrum, with no possible resolution. His “virtue signaling” is in support of no known virtue.
Even he does not believe in democracy. None of us should, of course, and “democracy” is so loosely defined as to encompass even the most tyrannical regimes of recent times.
The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea comes to mind as the prime example of this perversion of language.

There’s a reason the 1788 Constitution was written with many anti-democratic provisions.

He should focus on “strengthening democracy” here in the USA.
The Dems love to rub our noses in it. They are one diktat away from being Stalin. They HATE freedom and liberty.

Bingo!
It will have the thin veneer gloss of “democracy,” but a micron below that gloss is communism.
