'They finally have a wedding album they can show people.' Do not miss this love story. Not just the one about the devoted couple, but for the care givers who stepped up to create the memories that didn't happen the first time around. *That's love.*

Thanks for posting.
My parents were married right after WWII, for 66yrs. Both were in the war, and they’re gone now, each at 96.

I just shared this story with my 91 year old mother in law. We are both crying. Thank you so much for posting this.

The guy can still fit in to a uniform he wore in his early 20’s??
That alone is impressive. No wonder he’s lived to be 98 years old.

That’s so sweet. I hope that however long I last for, my husband and I will continue to have that kind of attachment and love for one another.
It’s awesome that he still fit into his uniform; he has excellent genetics. My friend of mine, a Marine, insisted on, “being stuffed into his dress blues” when he dies. It was partly why he wore a kilt to his wedding.
And she looks lovely. They found her a beautiful dress. My local vintage shop sold a similar one not too long ago, and I know for something like this she’d probably donate it. Otherwise, that’s probably a $300+ dress if proper vintage.
They make such an adorable couple. Congrats to them!
