Embattled CNN primetime host Chris Cuomo had become a pariah among his colleagues before he was suspended from the network over his involvement in brother Andrew's defense from sexual misconduct claims, it has now emerged.
The cable news network on Tuesday evening announced that Chris Cuomo, 51, was suspended indefinitely, with Anderson Cooper extending his hour-long show to two hours, to cover Chris's 9pm slot.
The news came a day after the New York Attorney General's Office released transcripts and exhibits, showing that the TV presented provided greater assistance to his older brother than initially acknowledged both to his employer and the public.

That’s not a name. That’s a bad scrabble hand.
Standing by his brother is one thing. Chris went far beyond that, using network sources and resources to cyber stalk the accusers. Sounds suspiciously close to witness intimidation.
I believe the proper journalistic ethics thing would have been for him to recuse himself from the story altogether. In retrospect should’ve done the same thing with the covid story, instead of inviting his brother to joke around on the air. Chris used his position of power to save a person who abused his position of power.
No way would I side with CNN.
Says the network that routinely features ex-cons, lawyers for hookers and known perjurers.
Beat me to it. LOL.
You forgot about the media job that client #9 got:)
Eliot Spitzer-54th Governor of New York from 2007 until his resignation in 2008. He made a number of television appearances in 2009 and 2010, including Real Time with Bill Maher and Campbell Brown (CNN program), as well as appearing as a substitute anchor on MSNBC. On June 24, 2010, CNN announced that Spitzer would be joining the network to host a "round-table" discussion program alongside center-right commentator Kathleen Parker. Parker Spitzer.
There they go, trying to shift all the blame to Moronic Chris for CNN’s race to the bottom. All of them should step up and acknowledge their part in CNN’s race to the bottom.
Chris Cuomo’s Lies Embarrassed CNN
Cuomo duped CNN viewers several times ......lying on the air in August,
saying, “I never made calls to the press about my brother’s situation.”
And he lied in his testimony to the NYAG’s probe. Cuomo said,
“I would, when asked, reach out to sources, other journalists,
to see if they had heard of anybody else coming out.”
REALITY CHECK This is textbook Hillary-era Bimbo Eruption MO.
Did former Clinton aide, ABC journo George Stephanopolous, weigh in?
Cuomo downplayed his secretive role:
<><>colluding w/ his extensive media contacts,
<><>pushing back on the allegations,
<><>being on the lookout for potential future damaging stories
<><> monitoring stories he knew were coming,
<><>advising the governor’s office as to what he knew,
<><>helping draft a formal statement
<><>gathering info on reporting in the works WRT the governor’s accusers.

Kathleen Parker? There’s a name from the past! I used to like her commentary before she went full RINO.
All of the Cuomo’s are and have been loathsome human beings.
Chris Cuomo could be back on CNN 'in January': Brian Stelter [12/01/2021]
I met and had a nice chat with Lynn Russell at a Veterans Day event in 2020. This is someone who actually built the reputation of CNN when they actually did have one.
She is completely horrified at what they have become.
