I am sure vast amounts of money are involved somewhere along the line.

Sad... Christianity is the antithesis of living in fear. Yet, our “leaders” have joined with other faiths and the ungodly in their delusions of doom.

Wondering how some of these “climate change” people feel to be dumber than the average learned high school student? They obviously don’t understand what actually regulates our climate. Here’s a hint for those folks: It’s something we have absolutely no control over.

The churches should be spreading the fear of the kind of climate change that happened in Sodom and Gomorrah.

“...Since religious leaders often have great influence...”

Not anymore. They just committed suicide.

Climate change...

When was it not changing?

What a great new spin on “global warming,” and “the coming ice age” from the 1970s.

With climate change, you cannot be wrong. Heck, the climate is changing on Jupiter: https://www.nasa.gov/feature/goddard/2018/jupiters-great-red-spot-getting-taller-as-it-shrinks (man made climate change?)

Did you know that mars was warming up? https://www.space.com/33001-mars-ice-age-ending-now.html (man made climate change?)

Was it our CO2 output and all those factories (no industry), or that massive world population (~550 million) that caused the Maunder Minimum circa 1670 - 1700? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maunder_Minimum

Is anyone thinking that maybe, just possibly, that big fusion reactor 8.5 light minutes away might play a role in the climate?

People who just want to hold the reins, whatever the political context, recognize a good hand when they see one. Plus, they don't care about faith or the faithful, apart from what they can make them do.

Any religion that preaches that we have just a few years left because climate change will decimate ,ife is a liar and charlatan. We have at a very minimum 1007 years left. 7 years of the trib (if it were to start tkday) and 1000 year reign of Christ.

Any re.igionmthay doesn’t understand that basic fact of the Bible isn’t preaching God’s word, but is preaching a religion that they have created themselves, devoid of truth.

They do this because many “Americans fear the Left more than they fear God” (Dennis Prager)

I was just thinking today that back in the old testament, the jews looked around them and were jealous of all the nations who,had kings over them, and they begged God for kings of their own. God advised against it, but in the end he allowed them to have what they begged for.

They got more than they bargained for because many of the kings were evil htrough and through.

It seems to me that our nation, those on the left, and perhaps Independents too, are clamoring to be ruled by kings here too. For some sick reason, they want to be loaded over by dictators “just like other nations” are.

THEY HAVE COME TO DESPISE being a sovereign people for some unknown reason. Perhaps because they feel, that a dictatorship will provide “for every need”, but how wrong they are

All these many years after the jews made the horrib, horrible, decision to be ruled by kings, and it seems we haven’t learned anything g from it

The problem is that modern religious leaders are not very well educated, and typically know nothing of scientific inquiry. Committed to a calling based not on reason but faith, they are vulnerable to the acceptance of authority as a basis for judgment, ie “trust the experts.” We see the result when they credulously swallow all manner of propaganda from “experts” cynically appealing to their good intentions.

“Climate change” is a religion and it’s adherents as radical and dangerous as moslem fanatics.

"...The Presbyterian Church (USA) Carbon Neutral Resolution was a resolution passed at the June, 2006, 217th General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (USA) strongly urging all Presbyterians to 'immediately aspire to live carbon neutral lives'.[1] It is believed that resolution was the first in the world by a major religious denomination for its followers to become carbon neutral..."

This shows that fear of climate change has now spread throughout the world’s religions from Christianity to Islam, Hinduism, and Jainism.

It does nothing of the sort!
