WASHINGTON -- A Russian analyst who contributed to a dossier of Democratic-funded research into ties between Russia and Donald Trump was arrested Thursday on charges of lying to the FBI about his sources of information, among them an associate of Hillary Clinton.
The case against Igor Danchenko is part of special counsel John Durham's ongoing investigation into the origins of the FBI's probe into whether Trump's 2016 campaign and Russia had conspired to tip the outcome of that year's presidential campaign.
The indictment, the third criminal case brought by Durham and the second in a two-month span, is likely to boost complaints from Trump allies that well-connected Democrats worked behind the scenes to advance suspicions about Trump and Russia that contributed to the FBI's election-year investigation.

Clearly the FBI is in cohoots with the democrats in orchestrating this scam. But in order to restore some semblance of respect to the FBI they are going to blame all the non-FBI people who are low enough on the totem pole and say they lied to the FBI and that was the problem. Sure the FBI may have been a little inept in believing the lies, but they were fooled just like everyone else was.
It’s better to be stupid than corrupt. But we all know the FBI was at the center of this. Don’t look for anyone to flip on the FBI or higher democrats because Durham isn’t going to be looking for that. He’ll get these lower guys convicted. Then when they tell the truth later...they’ll just say they are convicted liars you can’t believe them.

I've lived in communist countries, so I can't help but try to find deeper meaning through induction. I assume that the Clinton faction is being purged from the Democrat-deep-state Party. What better way to ensure it happens, while maintaining the facade of DOJ fairness and independence?
