An election loss by Virginia Democrat Terry McAuliffe would spell doom for Democrats in the 2022 congressional midterms as well as the 2024 general election, warned Vice President Kamala Harris Friday evening. She spoke just days before McAuliffe suffered a crushing defeat, as she stressed the election’s crucial impact on “how the country is gonna move.”
Harris’ warning was made last week as she joined McAuliffe campaigning at a “get out the vote” rally ahead of the Virginia governor election.

No tears that I have seen but damn close. I caught a snippet when madcow was interviewing a DEMOCRAT analyst who said “tonight is going to be a bloodbath for democrats” and her face screwed up like a 2 YO whose lollipop was taken away!

My USA Today-owned local paper today ran two stories, one about Biden’s failure to get his agenda passed and the one about his 42% approval rating and that most Americans feel the country is going in the wrong direction.
My bet is this is a precursor to replacing Biden with Harris as an attempt to get a “new start”. That probably sounds real good to the 20-somethings running the country but I don’t think it will work because even Democrats don’t like Harris and the more they hear out of her that will continue and get worse.
I just hope they don’t take this as a sign they should change direction...what they’re doing is working very well for those of us who are optimistic that we can take back the country.
This is a tough one. Kamala is usually wrong about everything. If she said that VA 2021 is a great bellwether for ‘22 and ‘24, then the presumption would have to be that it will actually have little to no impact. Or perhaps this is a case of a stopped clock indicating the correct time.
The skank looks like she might be right about this one ... we can only hope.

Agree! At a minimum he should have reminded the DNC in 2020 to "never underestimate Joe's ability to f*ck thing up."
Starting the witch trial of Kyle Rittenhouse just before the election, and having the real story in the eyes of everyone, wasn't the best media management the DNC has ever done.

A “ready for prime time” player doesn’t say things that carry the risk this one did.
Harris is an example of a person who never made it on merit. Never. She has never had to “win” a political race on her own merits or through her own savvy or appeal. She is a machine politician who has always had a benefactor to push her along in a one-party state.
This morning Steve Doocy cited a poll saying that only 36% of Democrats want Biden to be their nominee in 2024. He then added something to the effect that after what Kamala just said, they aren’t going to want her either, but I don’t know which comment of hers he meant (I had just switched to “Fox and Friends”).
IIRC she bailed on the POTUS race before the first votes were cast.
