There is only ONE federal agency that I have any faith in, the FDIC. I worked for them for nearly 5 years during the bank crisis. Perhaps the reason why we were effective is most of my coworkers were term employees. Management couldn’t screw with us, because we knew we’d be gone by X date.

The email from a Director in Dallas was titled, “Houston, we have a problem.”
