There is only ONE federal agency that I have any faith in, the FDIC. I worked for them for nearly 5 years during the bank crisis. Perhaps the reason why we were effective is most of my coworkers were term employees. Management couldn’t screw with us, because we knew we’d be gone by X date.

The contractors we oversaw hated us, we forced them to do their jobs. During my 4 years overseeing home mortgages, two contractors resigned voluntarily...they weren’t making enough money. They took it to our chairman, Sheila Barr, who told them to pound sand. She had just been forwarded my inspection report at one of the servicers. The email from a Director in Dallas was titled, “Houston, we have a problem.”

I also worked a few years at the Defense Contract Audit Agency, DCAA. I have nothing positive to say about this agency.

There was another serviced we inspected that was “noteworthy.” My partner asked for the loan files, and was told, “we outsourced that to a company in San Diego.” This office was in West Palm Beach. When he asked for the over-90 delinquencies, he was told it was outsourced to a firm in St. Louis. My boss was with us, and he did not like what he was hearing. He made a couple calls back to Dallas, turned out the St. Louis firm was not on the approved list of FDIC contractors.

Within 10 minutes, Sheila Bair told us to pack up, and ordered the contractor to fix that problem within 24 hours. FDIC was adamant about protecting sensitive and personal information.

Reminiscing about all of this, we lamented that had we not been as diligent at our jobs, we could have enjoyed many more trips to West Palm Beach and San Diego...lol.

The FDIC is corrupt as the rest. They have entirely proved that in recent times. They are just another arm of the deep state. The FDIC is responsible for approving killer vaccines. Now even in small children. The FDIC is responsible for keeping Covid treatments from the public. They are scum.

I have gone a couple of rounds with DCAA. I agree - nothing good to say about them.
