President Biden on Monday repeated — for the fifth time this year — a made up story to illustrate his closeness to Amtrak and a former conductor named Angelo Negri.
Biden told the tale — declared “false” by CNN — during a speech at the NJ Transit maintenance facility in Kearny, NJ, as he touted the $1.2 trillion Senate-passed bipartisan infrastructure bill that would boost funding for Amtrak.
“I apologize because some of you have heard this,” Biden said as he told the reliable laugh line.
“When I was vice president I used to like to take the train home because my mom was very sick and dying. And I’d come home every weekend,” said Biden, whose mother died in 2010.

My Uncle John was a great storyteller, and every time he started one of his jokes he would say, “This is a true story.” Then we’d hear about a priest, a minister, and a rabbi going into a bar, or some such thing. When I was quite young and not married I heard a woman say “As a wife you take it as a given you will have to put up with hearing your husband tell the same joke or story ten times. Goes with being married.”

The left is so confident they will turn America communist/marxist they don’t bother trying to hide it anymore. I do wonder if Americans have the cajones of spirit and freedom these days to shut them down. They control the fraudulent elections so other means must be found.
I do give the hateful left credit for working hard and quietly to install corrupt politicians who are true believers and/or bought and paid for to do their bidding throughout the nation regardless of the laws. In fact work they very hard to work around our laws. The OSHA vaccine mandate is a good example. It’s still not legal but who is going to stand up to them other than state AG’s and Governors.
I still think a civil war is imminent but we shall see. One thing for sure; the checks and balances intended to prevent exactly this kind of corrupt government is not working. This is the government our founders warned us about.
Which god is he swearing by? Ba’al? Enlil? Chemosh? Ahura Mazda? Osiris? Hermes? Divus Claudius?
I remember the 80 year old farmer up the street telling the same story over and over again about fixing the roof on a hot day. At least it was true, unlike anything His Fraudulency says.
Just once I would like to hear someone ask Joe’s press secretary, “Is he intentionally lying or can he no longer tell the difference?”
It will never happen of course, but I can dream.
