I am always amused by criticisms of various conservative influencers on the basis of their present or past objections to President Trump. One should always keep in mind that these folks have a much larger platform than the individual online commenter, they have been very successful in their efforts to reach an big audience and lastly....they are on our side, that is if the objective is saving the country rather than comprehending conservativism though the exclusive lens of political personality.

My decision to care whether or not a self-described conservative supports President Trump has zero to do with “political personality”, and everything to do with “saving the country”.
Ben Shapiro thinks that the January 6 “rioters” were authoritarians of the right - attempting to interfere with the peaceful transfer of power. Anyone who holds that view is NOT on my side.
