MSNBC “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough on Thursday took issue with Republicans for refusing to vote to raise the debt ceiling.
Scarborough accused GOP leadership of being “reckless” in its opposition to Democrats. He questioned if the likes of Sens. Mitt Romney (R-UT), Ben Sasse (R-NE) and Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) would allow the economy to crash as a result of the debt brought on by the GOP and former President Donald Trump.

Maybe if the Dems in charge of the House and Senate presented a clean bill to only raise the debt ceiling. They always come through with a few trillion dollar blackmail demand and call it an emergency that must be passed today without reading it.

Joe seems to do this a lot, where he takes an issue, and then bends over backward to prove that he is liberal. He wants everyone to forget he was ever a Republican congressman. He wants everyone to know he’s changed. Maybe Mika made him liberal, who knows.

I will die waiting for someone - ANYONE - to ask Biden what happened to the billions of dollars spent for infrastructure years ago. We should have had all new roads, bridges, railroads, plants, you name it by now...and he was the one put in charge of it all. SICKENING! Other than Solyndra getting a huge payout AND THEN CLOSING, not one penny has ever been accounted for to my knowledge...Yeah, yeah, “shovel ready jobs”....They really take us for chumps, don’t they? Scarbrow is not even close to reality and is nothing more than a shock jock earning his living by poisoning people’s minds.
A budget is a financial plan for a defined period. It may also include planned sales volumes and revenues, resource quantities, costs and expenses, assets, liabilities and cash flows, among other things. For a budget to work, it has to consider the use of all resources to remain in the black or it will create a need for calling upon those in hand resources. By government raising the debt ceiling they are basically saying they either don’t want to use or even have those resources. In other words, the country is broke by expenditure. And the only ways they can gain revenue is sell land, give up gift money, or raise taxes.
They will do one and three. Number two is their vote trolling device. So who’s reckless? According to the con man it couldn’t be the people in charge that have overstepped the checkbook and are about to go back into the mode that Obama used to double one of our major problems during the time he was in office....the debt.
In this case, truly, the names have been changed to protect the guilty.
