They are being sold and used in the USA because millions of Americans want the protection the vaccines offer. That’s the “why”!

Maybe the government shouldn't have sugarcoated the bio-weapon aspect with the public, but I do think it drove their decision making.
As it was, Operation Warp Speed took almost a year of continuous effort and not many people gave it much chance in succeeding.

Thanks for your input. I have not heard that about monoclonal antibodies. In a Risk-Benefit analysis, in the hospital with severe disease, one is not being irrational taking a trial treatment of any kind.
Healthy with a 99.7% survival rate IF I get CV-19, I am not taking a medicine that is not truly tested. Its one’s constitutional right to. Many appreciate those who participate in the testing phase. We just tested on almost everyone.
These vaccines better not be dangerous in a couple years or everyone, and I mean everyone I know is at risk. This is the dumbest roll out I can imagine since so many young and healthy are not in danger. Cheers
