Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear (D) on Thursday announced that hospitals in the state are nearing a “critical point” with regard to being able to treat COVID-19 patients.

Beshear urged unvaccinated people in his state to get the shot while he explained that hospitals are facing staffing shortages and reaching capacity, noting that the delta variant of the coronavirus is “burning through our population,” according to The Associated Press.

“Our hospital capacity, really the capacity that we have based on the staffing that we have, is reaching a critical point,” Beshear said during a Thursday news conference. “At this rate, we are going to be out of hospital capacity very, very soon.

That, too, begs the question. Why are hospitalizations for a respiratory illness going up in the summer, in spite of vaccinations?

And why are they going up, after a year and a half of "mitigation" measures, and after seven months of "vaccinations", etc.?

Pretty simple really: because everything about COVID is a lie. But by all means, let's keep doing the things that have not only not made any difference, but are evidently making things worse. Of course, it is only "evidently" because they continue to lie about everything, and never, ever put any of this in context.

Staffing.

A lot of med staff have left the business. Locally the issue isn’t beds, it is no nurses.

Many quit over the mandatory jabs.

its only about a certain section of the hospital being crowded

they desire to give the false impression the entire hospital is packed to the rooftop with covid cases

and by placing them where they do they get the maximum money for each case

OK, full disclosure: I believe COVID is real, that it’s deadly, and that vaccines are good.

BUT.

This SOUTHERN SURGE happened last year as well. It followed a short surge in the Northeast in March and April.

As I posted at the time, surges happen because of indoor air. In the Northeast, we are indoors when it’s cold. Down South, they are indoors when it’s hot.

I predicted a big winter surge in the Northeast for 2020-21, and I was right.

Current epidemiology is being used to “prove” that mass vaccination is a valuable tool, and that is possible.

It is also possible that this is just seasonal variation, in a year with a lot more virus around.

Every time jr. opens his mouth I want to slap a public school teacher for their idiocy. Right now they would line up an kiss jrs. ass on tv for SAVING them from the deadly covid virus!

Since covid I have no respect for public school teachers and dame little for doctors who refuse to act like doctors. They are more akin to nurses in that they instead of follow doctors orders, follow the CDC’s orders, glorified nurses at best. Those who refuse to play this game are few and far between.

“Our hospital capacity, really the capacity that we have based on the staffing that we have, is reaching a critical point”

My wife has worked at three hospitals over the years and every time they start this we are full or at max capacity it enrages her. She says almost word for word the quote above.

At one facility they were licensed for 85 beds. She said at most if they had too they might could fill 50 beds with greatly——greatly reduce staff to patient ratio. She said they were staffed to operate 30-35 beds and when they ran out of staff they simply didn’t open the other beds.

"Thanks a lot teachers unions for electing this demented dirt bag. Was Bevin that bad???"

Bevin was obsessed in his last year in office that casino goers are suicidal. He wanted out, plain and simple, and Miotch moved too late to replace him.

No they are not despite what media is telling you. Ask your state for the data (public information that they no longer publish) . I checked numbers in my state for past 10 weeks and compared them to same time last year. Cases are up (good I say- let’s move this along) but hospitalizations are NOT more than last year AND deaths are WAY down. It’s all fear mongering and lies to pressure people to submit. Ask your state for all reports from daily dashboards for June July and August last year and June July August this year and you’ll see- just make sure for last August you only count the data through today, ie compare same days last August to same days data is available for this August
