It’s a foreign-policy humiliation unlike anything our country has endured since the Iran hostage crisis.
The likelihood there’s going to be the Taliban overrunning everything and owning the whole country [of Afghanistan] is highly unlikely,” President Biden confidently proclaimed in July. “There’s going to be no circumstance where you see people being lifted off the roof of an embassy.”
One month later, the scenario Mr. Biden deemed impossible has become a horrifying reality. In recent days, the world has watched panicked civilians cling to U.S. military aircraft in a desperate attempt to escape the chaos unleashed by Mr. Biden’s reckless retreat. American diplomats had to beg our enemies not to storm our embassy in Kabul. Taliban fighters have seized scores of American military vehicles, rifles, artillery, aircraft, helicopters and drones.
The Biden administration’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan is a foreign-policy humiliation unlike anything our country has endured since the Iran hostage crisis.

And by the way, Mr. Pence, why were you and Trump making deals with terrorists? You both should know better. They (like you, Mr. Pence) do not keep their word.
Does Pence really believe that had Biden withdrawn the U.S. troops by May 11th that the Taliban wouldn't have been in Kabul three months earlier?
There was no plan to transport the billions of dollars worth of American equipment recently captured by the Taliban...
Wasn't all that equipment taken from the Afghan military when they fell apart? Would Trump have taken it with us when he withdrew?
He betrayed President Trump. That’s a major character flaw. he’s done.
How did he “betray” President Trump? Please elaborate.
Our constitution requires Pence to obey the law making it unconstitutional to certify a fraudulent election.
Others disagree.
He had letters from the SOS and congress of several states that there was suspicion of fraud in those states.
Whether or not the election would have been corrected in the end, or not, is beside the point. He didn’t even try and he didn’t independently initiate the decision to return to the states. They requested it.
Methinks Pence is angling for the VP slot if Trump runs in 2024, or he’s going to try for the nomination if he doesn’t.
Won’t work. Trump is not the forgive and forget type. He’s more likely to nurse a grudge until it does of old age, then stuff it and mount it over the fireplace.
Pence, you’re no better... YOU CUT AND RAN!
Pence, you’re no better... YOU CUT AND RAN!
“And you broke your deal with the President.”
And wasn’t it fairly recently ago determined that Pence was one of the leakers?
Pence is sewage
Football 🏈
It’s ridiculous.
You’ve certainly got that right. It was the entire crew of DC corrupt Uniparty (R) hacks who had to get Trump out of office before he derailed their DC money train. You can count on two hands the honest MAGA supporting republicans in DC. You must also blame the idiots like me who voted these Uniparty traitors, such as Mitch McConnell and Thomas Massie into office.
Maybe not make a deal with the Taliban in the first place?
The Taliban has never kept their word. Ever. And they never will. Yet Trump made a deal with them. They say Biden broke the deal by keeping forces in Afghanistan LONGER than Trump would have. That should tell you that if Trump's deal came to fruition, this massacre would've just happened sooner than it's happening now. Making any deal with the Taliban is nonsensical. Biden having no plan to evacuate Americans and friendly Afghanis is another issue and speaks to his administration's absolute incompetence.
Biden and his civilian, military and IC kakistocracy gave aid and comfort to the enemy. The Constitution has a word for that!
It’s so interesting that the people who were responsible for putting Biden in office are offering criticism NOW. Pence. Hagerty. Blackburn. Etcetera...
It’s an interesting opinion. I’ll go with people like John Eastman, et al., who know that Judas DID have the Constitutional authority. Instead, Judas chose to sell out.
