At today's Senate Banking Committee hearing, Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) called out Solomon J. Greene, the Assistant Secretary Designate at the Housing and Urban Development, about his tweet about defunding the police.

I believe conservatives receive very little benefit from police.
And I am not opposed to reducing them by half.
Please explain your reasoning.
I stopped taking Scott seriously when he turned his back on the fraud in the presidential election. He goes after low-hanging fruit like this but where was he when we really needed him?
If you think about it, that’s a very legit statement.
Conservatives and the areas they live in, tend to have lower crime. The court systems in those areas tend to be “not so lenient”. Places like what Cobb County, Ga and Gwinnett County, Ga, were two perfect examples of it. Great financial stewardship, great schools, low crime. No need for an army of cops and neither place did. Their departments were top notch, but they weren’t huge.
At least, that what they USED to be. Not so much anymore. Illegals started creeping in. Liberals started creeping in. Gwinnett has a Democrat Sheriff and DA for the first time in whenever. Not good and trending down.
The snot-nosed arrogant Solomon Greene tried to worm his way out of what he had had tweeted. It “populated” his tweet — as if he had nothing to do with it. What a despicable low life.
He’s a POS. I don’t think he ever deserved to be there in the first place, but the first time he got the pass he deserved.
Since then, he’s proven to be nothing but a shill for the UNIPARTY and his pal, Linda.

Scott was no fan of Trump, and didn’t want any Police movement on the blessed Riots.
I stopped taking Scott seriously when he turned his back on the fraud in the presidential election.Everyone at Fox has done the same only worse. Fox was complicit in the election fraud when they called Arizona for Biden before the votes were in and the polls still open. Not to mention their dead silence watching the fraud take place right before their eyes after they called it.

I agree. I consider Tim Scott to be a moderate. I have no use for moderates. We have too many of them.
And his excuse was that he was hacked, basically. Same thing they all say. In his case someone else shares access and posted this stuff that he absolutely 100% certainly doesn't agree with. Uh huh. At best, his defense is he has horrible judgement. At worst he's a lying sack of excrement.

Where I live in a mid-size agricultural community in the Big Valley, homeowners provide their own security. As do shopkeepers.
It’s only in the small ghettos of blacks and Mexicans that there’s any trouble to speak of.
And too many cops get in the way of effective law enforcement by the people.
I believe that’s the case in over 75% of the American land mass.
The ONLY thing I get from cops is tickets.
If we could carry anywhere we go we probably wouldn’t even need half.

Although, that is not why the left wants to defund the police.
