Vice President Joe Biden's mother, Catherine Finnegan Biden, died Friday at age 92 at the vice president's Delaware home.
Though she was a nonagenarian Biden's mother, known as "Jean" to family and friends, was healthy enough to appear at the Democratic National Convention in August 2008 and at a few other campaign appearances.

Was he referring to Dr. Jill’s Mom?
I feel like I am missing something here and clearly you are referencing the thread below where someone claimed Joe was “asking for his mom.”
I watched the video. I know that is a violation of FR rules, but it appears that he is looking for the mother of one of the hosts or guests there to recognize her.
Biden has plenty of moments that cause concern, but this did not look like one of them.

He also has ridiculous pauses, and waits for word in his (secret service modeled) earpiece.

He’s an idiot, thats for sure. Always been. But, this wasn’t one of those times.
However, one has to ask if he actually knew what was going on or did the person speaking to him in his earpiece know?
Couldn’t Dr. Jill save her?
If she was 92 and Joe is 78, that means she was 14 when she had him.
I guess Joe’s father liked them young as well.

This is 11 years ago, what is the reason for posting this. I guess I will post FDR’s obituary soon.
He doesn't say "where's YOUR mom", he just says "where's mom".
I don't speak Biden, but I guess it could, possibly, maybe, perhaps be interpreted as asking for the guest's mom. I guess.....

Joe has always spoke in rich fantasies.
He had one of his houses on the Potomac renovated to duplicate the Vice Presidential Mansion.
He says he’s going to Cure Cancer.
He’s said his son was Attorney General of the United States, and he was supposed to be President.
Not too much mental illness going on with impaired Joe.

She fell asleep within minutes. Didn't improve her condition, however.
