National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director Anthony Fauci said federal health officials are considering recommending that fully vaccinated people wear masks in public again.
“This is under active consideration,” Fauci told CNN in response to a question about whether masks should be used again despite individuals’ COVID-19 vaccination status. Fauci, who serves as President Joe Biden’s chief medical adviser, added, “If we don’t vaccinate people, the model is going to predict that we’re going to be in trouble as we continue to get more and more cases.”

1.) I don't think it's work even if the CDC/NIH goes that way. They already blew their wad (cried wolf) and folks are more skeptical now.
2.) Has anyone else noticed, that anything a liberal governor, mayor, or the Democrat party advocates becomes the official position of Fauci and "science?"

How did the CDC’s eviction moratorium hold up in court? They have no authority to mandate anything.
What will we (the vaccinated) do about it if they do? Fall back into full compliance mode like good little sheeple,or continue to live our lives without useless face-diapers and tell them to go to hell?

He may be reacting to the recent publication of some new modeling predictions that came out this last Wednesday (21 July),from the COVID-19 Scenario Modeling Hub, a consortium of researchers working in consultation with the CDC - scrambling for some fig leaf, to make him look like he is taking action.
NPR reports on their assessment: “In the most likely scenario, Lessler says, the U.S. reaches only 70% vaccination among eligible Americans, and the delta variant is 60% more transmissible. In that scenario, at the peak in mid-October, there would be around 60,000 cases and around 850 deaths each day”.
We are close to 60K cases/day already, but deaths have been running 300-400/day.
President Trump’s former FDA Commissioner, is projecting a sharper rise and quicker fall for our Delta wave, peaking in 3-4 more weeks (like the UK Delta wave).
