Liberals are right to say systemic racism exists, but they’re wrong about its perpetrators. The systemic racists aren’t the non-woke white majority, who typically deny that systemic racism even exists. Today’s systemic racists—successors to proponents in the formal slavery period that ended with the Civil War and its informal continuance under Jim Crow—are America’s woke whites.
These white liberals, though well-intentioned, are so blinded by their racism that they believe blacks can’t feed themselves and their families without food stamps, can’t succeed on their own merits without affirmative action programs, and can’t even manage to get voter ID to cast a ballot for the candidate of their choice.
President Lyndon B. Johnson’s Great Society and War on Poverty initiatives in the mid-1960s created the sea change that stymied the rapid advancements of blacks in overcoming the shackles of centuries of slavery. The Harvard Business School would describe the 1900–1930 period as “The Golden Age of Black Business” in which enterprising blacks were thriving despite the wholesale bigotry in society at large. Over the entire first half of the 20th century, in fact, blacks were less likely to be unemployed than whites and when they were, they were likelier to be reemployed faster than their white counterparts.
Moreover, despite their high poverty rate, most blacks had middle-class values—82 percent lived in married, two-parent households; 40 percent were small-business owners; children sought and got good grades. Harlem was a low-crime, vibrant community where whites as well as blacks felt comfortable walking the streets at night.

“Liberals are right to say systemic racism exists, but they’re wrong about its perpetrators.”
No, sorry, the libs will not be owned by people who accept their premises.
The Cleveland Guardians? Were there Indian tribes complaining about the Cleveland Indians or the Washington Redskins? Perhaps there were, but I’ve never heard about it. To me, these are patronizing acts by pseudo-phonies who do this because it makes them feel good...it doesn’t matter how other feel. If I were native American, I’d be PO’ed by the patronage and feel some history was taken from me.
But they are indeed the perpetrators.
1900–1930 period as “The Golden Age of Black Business”
It looks like the Great Depression was the culprit not imaginary racism.
I’m sure the 1900-1930 time period was a golden age for many different peoples, then “the deflation happened.”
Here is a list of recessions during the supposed golden age.
1899-2900 recession
1902-1904 recession
Panic of 1907
Panic of 1910-1911
Recession of 1913-1914
Post WW1 recession August 1918-March 1919
1920-1921 Depression
1923-1924 recession
1926-1927 recession
1929-1933 Great Depression
Woke people might be thought of as self-hating, but I think they act that way, paradoxically, to raise their status.
Most people that they interact with are not members of the grievance groups that they claim to champion. So, they can spend their days feeling superior, even if they’re members of the “privileged” groups that they claim to loathe.
“These white liberals, though well-intentioned, are so blinded by their racism that they believe blacks can’t feed themselves and their families without food stamps, can’t succeed on their own merits without affirmative action programs, and can’t even manage to get voter ID to cast a ballot for the candidate of their choice.”
Uh, black people have an average IQ of 85.
Without “programs” they’d be even more challenged.
Just a factual statement.
Heck yeah it does against Whites, Asians and conservatives of any color. There should be a protest by Whites and Asians where they stay home for a week.
Did you read the article? He’s saying that the libs are the perpetrators of the racism.
It does we currently have a systemically racist administration.
One that proves the party switch never occurred.
We have a president who voted for segregation and the vice president his family were huge slave traders owning as many as 100 slaves at a time
“Systemic Racism Exists”
Systemic Racism Exists especially in the Democratic Party
There, fixed it
I don’k think for minute that they are well-intentioned at all.
later
Affirmative Action is the only one that comes to mind.
Rat infestations are known to cause systematic racism.
Yes, I am familiar with the tactic of “I know you are, but what am I?” Conservatives have been doing DR3 for decades. I have done my fair share of it. It has had zero impact. Robert Byrd has been dead for a while.
The reason is that Racism is not a neutral concept. It was invented by communists as a weapon to use against what used to be a white and Christian establishment.
What is called “racism” is simply the in-group preferences that all groups do within their own cultures; it’s just made into a disease when white people do it. That’s why the Left says with a straight face that nobody but whites can be racist. It didn’t used to mean something else. It wasn’t a benign concept that the Left corrupted. It is their weapon. They invented it. We have been trying to accept the concept and turn it against them for over 40 years. It has not worked.
We can argue against their morality without accepting it.
1899-2900 recession
Wow, that’s some recession, one thousand and one years long and most of it still ahead of us, the future looks bleak indeed!
The demand for Racism far exceeds the supply. (Unless you actually define Racism rationally) .They bang the drums claiming (fictional) Systemic Racism. In order to meet the demand the RATs have supplemented the few traces of actual Racism with Synthetic Racism
“1899-2900 recession
Wow, that’s some recession, one thousand and one years long and most of it still ahead of us, the future looks bleak indeed!”
1899-1900 recession is the appropriate time frame.(take it up with the economist sect)
Thanks for correcting my error.
Do you want to add value to the conversation, or is that it?
...against white people, not dark skinned people.
