Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) on Thursday pledged to introduce a bill repealing part of President Joe Biden’s executive order mandating masks on public transit as senators in both parties call for an updated guidance from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).

Paul tweeted that he will introduce an “immediate repeal of the mask mandate on planes” when the Senate returns next week, adding, “let people travel in peace!”
Paul has been one of the Senate’s most vocal anti-maskers, catching heat from fellow senators for his refusal to wear a mask in the chamber and urging Biden to “light a torch and burn his mask” to encourage vaccinations.
Paul has also said he won’t get the coronavirus vaccine because of his past infection and criticized the Biden administration’s efforts to push more Americans to take the vaccine.
Paul’s announcement comes after five senators, three Democrats and two Republicans, sent a letter to the TSA and Centers for Disease Control requesting details on how they plan to update their mask requirement for fully vaccinated travelers.

There should be no mask mandates anywhere. They are totally useless in protecting against coronavirus, not to mention dangerous to your health by reducing oxygens supply while increasing CO2, plus all the extra germs etc etc..

Recently went from FL to ND via TX and the air stewardess on a couple of flights was put your mask on and then I hear the woman over the speaker as we landed saying we need to social distance as we have covid when we get out cases. It is so stupid

You lose oxygen intake at sea level just wearing a face muzzle, once at altitude the cabin is pressurized to between 5,000 and 7,000 feet, so in effect wearing a mask while flying is exposing most people to mild hypoxia.
And I used to live at Lake Tahoe, its near 6,224 feet and I worked up at Heavenly the ski resort at 8,000 feet and I know how it changes people, they get irritable, they fight, they cannot make proper decisions.
Thats exactly what masking is doing.
He has been so great on this stuff. I talked to an older lady today who was so against masks, it was nice to talk to a sane person.
Biden is sure to veto it unless it rides on a budget reconciliation bill or some omnibus monstrosity.
