Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra argued that the federal government is entitled to know who in the United States has been vaccinated, responding to anger from GOP House members who say the Biden administration is infringing on personal liberty.
“Perhaps we should point out that the federal government has had to spend trillions of dollars to try to keep Americans alive during this pandemic, so it is absolutely the government’s business. It is taxpayers' business if we have to continue to spend money to try to keep people from contracting COVID and helping reopen the economy,” Becerra said on CNN Thursday.
Becerra rejected arguments from the Right that the Biden administration is trying to override the public’s freedom to choose not to be vaccinated. His remarks come just days after President Joe Biden announced that his administration would shift its focus from getting as many people vaccinated as possible to dealing with persistent vaccine hesitancy in certain parts of the country with exceptionally low vaccination rates, primarily in states in the South and the Midwest. Biden had pledged to “go to community by community … and oftentimes door to door, literally knocking on doors," eliciting anger from Republicans.

Perhaps I should point out that spending money doesn't take away my rights, and it's damn sure NOT the government's business.
Here’s how to know who is vaxed:

Actually it is a little bit easier. For example, California maintains a master list of people who have been vaccinated for anything, not just Covid. I’m sure many, if not all, other states maintain the same kind of database.
This is fundamentally why we DO NOT WANT socialized health care. As soon as someone else is paying for your Healthcare, they start to feel like your Healthcare decisions are really up to them. Soon it won’t simply be *just* vaccines and experimental drug treatments. It will expand (as governments are wont to do) to diet, exercise, lifestyle choices such as smoking and drinking. Of course risky sexual behaviors will be supported, but a glass of Bourbon or a nice steak will cost you dearly.

Pathetic, given that all they needed to do was provide everyone an early treatment pack consisting of Revlimid, Vit D and Zinc, with maybe Zithromax. Pathetic, given that they haven’t clearly defined the major risk factors, which are highest in the obese, Vit D deficient, and aged populations.
