Behind Biden’s 2020 Victory: An examination of the 2020 electorate, based on validated voters
Pew Research Center ^ | June 30, 2021 | Ruth Igielnik, Scott Keeter and Hannah Hartig

Posted on 07/06/2021 3:10:09 PM PDT by nicollo

The 2020 presidential election was historic in many ways. Amid a global pandemic, with unprecedented changes in how Americans voted, voter turnout rose 7 percentage points over 2016, resulting in a total of 66% of U.S. adult citizens casting a ballot in the 2020 election. Joe Biden defeated Donald Trump 306-232 in the Electoral College and had a 4-point margin in the popular vote. While Biden’s popular vote differential was an improvement over Hillary Clinton’s 2016 2-point advantage, it was not as resounding as congressional Democrats’ 9-point advantage over Republicans in votes cast in the 2018 elections for the U.S. House of Representatives.

A new analysis of validated 2020 voters from Pew Research Center’s American Trends Panel examines change and continuity in the electorate, both of which contributed to Biden’s victory. It looks at how new voters and voters who turned out in one or both previous elections voted in the 2020 presidential election and offers a detailed portrait of the demographic composition and vote choices of the 2020 electorate. It also provides a comparison with findings from our previous studies of the 2016 and 2018 electorates.

So Pew is reinforcing the story line, carried by all the Left, but most importantly by the Wall Street Journal, that it was suburban voters who propelled Biden's win.

They say this because they want to deflect from the urban core vote fraud. I'm not unconvinced that similar fraud took place in suburban counties, especially given my own early voting experience in hard-Left Arlington County, VA, where my wife and I had to DEMAND that the poll workers confirm our identity. They were processing voters without confirming ID, even though the rules requiring ID were placed plainly in front of every polling station. When we demanded that the poll-worker confirm our IDs, they were confounded. When I complained to the manager of the station, he just said that he'd "look into it." Bogus as all can.

Anyway, I notice a couple things from the Pew "analysis":

1. While admitting that Trump's 2020 rural vote gain was significant over 2016, they ignore the fact that it offset the suburban vote gain by Biden, for which they attribute Biden's win.

2. These numbers are insignificant nationally and only matter state-by-state. I see no such distinction.

3. It was the increase in black vote that put Biden over the top, not suburban votes. Period. (Or to quote the man, "Period Period Period.") See: https://catalist.us/wh-national/ which documents that it was black votes in GA and AZ that provided the needed Biden margin, and that in WI, NV and MI the black "turnout" contributed significantly to the Biden overall vote (but not unto itself pushing over the margin). This is a leftist site, btw.

I'm curious as to the informed Freeper response to this "report" from Pew.

The “Pew” Report is pure “HOGWASH”. Trump won...period. There is no “honest” way possible for the Democrat Party ticket of Joe Biden for POTUS & Kamala Harris for VP to get elected. There is also no way in this God’s world that the Biden/Harris Biden,Harris ticket, garnered 81,000,000 votes.

For goodness sake, Biden & Harris are so bad they cannot draw people to their speeches or rallies...period. Meanwhile Trump these days draws 50,000 supporters per rally!!!

Please Pew....do not “PEE” down my back and tell me it is raining!!!

This was the most abnormal election to occur, imo. Country in
lock down, normal voting sites closed, Mail ballots sent, chain of custody hard to follow, etc. etc. Where we voted it was pretty routine
to past elections. But not sure of thatfor other places around the country.

Yes, where “validated” means having lied on behalf of the Party.

2016 was 128 million voters.. 2020 was 155 million voters. They usually go up 5 or 7 million a year. Not that many. They used mail ins to create votes.

Or an increase in illegal votes from black districts...

The Biden voters don’t particularly like Biden, they just hate Trump. The fact that they don’t go to Biden rallies is irrelevant.

Biden won because of his margin of victory in five large democrat swing-state cities where the votes were counted in a huge arena instead of in local precincts has had always been done in past elections. Without the ability to cheat that was provided by the drop boxes, the mail in ballots without verification, votes coming in after shutting down at 11 pm, unusual counting in those arenas, etc. Trump would have won.

So all that pre-election noise about 30-35% black support for Trump was just that.. noise.

It used to be one person, one vote.

About a fourth of the Biden “votes” in 2020 were no person, one vote.
