However, it’s clear the fundamental divide is between those who believe there is “systemic racism” and those who do not.

and this truly is deeply Marxist. Another word for “systemic” is “cultural” and you can’t have a cultural revolution, without, well, having a cultural revolution.

Basically they are saying individuals don’t matter, and even if they found zero individuals who were racist, and zero individuals actually harmed by actual racism, there would still be “systemic racism” to deal with.

This is a death sentence to the west.

We are ushering in Pol Pot.

To an extent, although it think there is a lot more content to the concept of "systemic racism" than is contained in the definition used in the poll and in the Florida statute: "racism is not merely the product of individual bias or prejudice, but also something embedded in legal systems and policies." There is certainly a lot more to Critical Race Theory, which created the very concept of "systemic racism," than the mere study of this mildly-defined version of "systemic racism."

I think if either concept was presented to the public in its full, post-Marxist glory, it would meet with much broader opposition than reflected in this poll.

No, that is what the leftist proponents of critical race theory would like you to believe. Establishing that concept, which you seem to have adopted, implies several things. The first is that the analysis, premise, and theory which the proponents of critical race theory expound is valid and true. The second is that there is a defined population of people who don't believe in the concepts of critical race theory, when in fact such a group may not actually exist except in terms of some survey results.

I would suggest that most people don't even know what the definition of systemic racism is based on critical race theory. They may have their own idea of what the phrase could mean, but those definitions are themselves going to vary between people. It is entirely possible that people who are aware of some kinds of racism that have been or are currently implemented by governmental bodies or institutions will say "yes, there is systemic racism" but they are not using the phrase in the same way as someone who is applying critical race theory.
