Ben Franklin wondered why people built their houses out of the same fuel they cooked food and warmed themselves with.
And Isaiah wondered how people could worship something made from the same stuff they cooked their food over. :-)

It is used as fuel for burning; some of it he takes and warms himself, he kindles a fire and bakes bread. But he also fashions a god and worships it; he makes an idol and bows down to it. Is 44:15.
Maybe Ben got his idea from the Bible? Anyway, Ben Franklin’s musings reminded me of that Passage.
