My version in April was pure cold, 100 degree temperature that came and went each day. Cough, I will admit was five star.12 days and it wrapped up.

It was not just a cold for many. Unbelievable that that is still said. What’s the point of that? Don’t take the vaccine. Still some illness but it’s much less. Hope it continues to get milder as viruses frequently do. Viruses don’t spread as easily if you too easily kill your host.

Well most of the most vulnerable population has been vaccinated. The younger population, that is not yet vaccinated, don’t have the co-morbidities that would have put them higher on the list in the UK to get vaccinated for COVID-19.

What nonsense!!!! The reported “now” “most common” symptoms , or being asymptomatic, has been the overwhelming majority of conditions for MOST infected people FROM THE BEGINNING@!!!!!
Why the article now? Because now it is O.K. - for some as yet we shall see reason - to now state the obvious.
The flu is not a cold.
Some flu years are worse than the covid year.
Not many in awhile. I’ve practiced internal medicine/critical care for over 30 years. Only one year was close to this one. Try to avoid calling people names like robot. You don’t know me or my thoughts on anything but that this was a nasty virus.
If you believe that we needed masks, lockdowns and vaccines, you ARE a robot.
I don’t need to know anything more about you to know that.
Shove a ventilator down a vulnerable person’s throat, sedate unconscious, a recipe for 10% to die predictably.

Never believed in lockdowns or masks (other than my get up on covid units) but do believe in the vaccine for vulnerable groups. Said those things at the time. Also, volunteered to take covid patients even though I was exempt because of age. I may be a robot in your eyes but I’m no coward.
