I think their argument misses the point entirely. The word ἀρσενοκοῖται was in use in Greek society a long, long time ago.

Just because the English word homosexual was not used back then the meaning of the term was clearly understood.

That's the argument the homo/lesbian community is trying to advance to justify their behavior.

That is a convenient argument for those that seek cover for their choice of behavior. I am concerned about those who have no choice in the matter.

Let me posit that where this is a mistake of nature I believe it is correctible with therapy including hypnosis, carefully chosen supplements and perhaps measures yet to be developed. Modern medicine can often resolve the state of twins who are born conjoined; this condition ought to be recognized during childhood and addressed.

The "anti-gay movement" arose in response to the militant, anti-Christian LGBTQ movement. From the outset, Christianity opposed homosexuality and other forms of sexual vice; it was not something added centuries later through a "mistranslation."

It's ridiculous to claim that something started with an English translation in 1946 when the books of the New Testament were already 1800+ years old at that time, and the books of the Old Testament considerably older.

The word "homosexual" is something of a monstrosity, like the word "television"--it combines a Greek root with a Latin root. The Modern Greek word for "homosexual" is omophylophilos, combining the roots for "same," "sex" and "friend."

The Bible became anti-gay whenever the story of Lot or the laws of Moses were written down, whichever was earlier.

It is true that the word "homosexual" is not found in the Bible. The word was invented in modern times by a homosexual activist. In Biblical times, there was no concept of a "homosexual" as a distinct type of person. What the Bible condemned were sexual acts between members of the same sex. "Homosexual" is simply shorthand for Greek words that referred to those acts.

There is no doubt that both the Old and New Testaments clearly condemned the sexual behaviors that are central to today's homosexual culture.
