It is written: “Democrat President Franklin Delano Roosevelt drew inspiration from the great Republican of the Civil War, championing the classical and moving ahead with Washington construction...” Not so fast. Under his tenure there was the institution of the “Egyptian Revival” a movement noted for its ugly buildings and only surpassed by the cracker boxes begun under Lyndon Johnson. (An example, the hideous FBI building begun in 1967.)
Well, that one out-uglied the Weaver Building (HUD) in DC!
Lets make Russia Great Again!!! Lets copy the great Soviet Architecture, and at the same time bow down to Putin and give him all of our nukes.

Heaven forbid that brutalist architecture returns to public buildings. Brutalism combines the worst features of Egyptian, Etruscan, earlyAmerican railroad station and Stalinist architectural designs.
