John Cena was on the receiving end of a piledriver Tuesday from American Twitter users after his “pathetic” apology to China for referring to Taiwan as a country during a promotional spot for his new movie “F9.”

Cena, speaking Mandarin, went on Chinese social media site Weibo Tuesday to apologize for calling Taiwan a country during a promotional interview for “F9,” the latest installment for the “Fast and Furious” franchise, earlier this month.

“I made one mistake. I have to say something very, very, very important now. I love and respect China and Chinese people. I’m very, very sorry about my mistake. I apologize, I apologize, I’m very sorry. You must understand that I really love, really respect China and the Chinese people. My apologies. See you,” Cena said.

Never did I ever think that I would agree with something that Olbermann said or wrote, but on this, I agree. A broken clock and all, I guess.

John is a twat...nothing more to say except I cannot imagine what a man must feel (about himself) after publicly making such a shameful statement.
On one hand Cena would probably say he was protecting the incomes of the cast and crew of the movie he was in who aren’t in as fortunate of a life situation as he is and depend upon the stars in a film to not sabotage their careers. Sure he’s worth millions and stands to be worth many more millions, but those assistant grips and show runners live paycheck to paycheck and he has to look them in the face.
On the other hand, actual slavery and genocide. Cena chose poorly.
