When it comes to living former New Jersey governors, a new poll shows Tom Kean remains residents’ favorite, while Chris Christie is still their least favorite — though his numbers have improved.

A majority of Jerseyans don’t support another Christie making another run at the White House, either.

The Monmouth University Poll, released Tuesday morning, asked Garden State adults what they think about the state’s nine living ex-governors.

In my opinion, they're both last.

They're ALL last.

Fun Fact: New Jersey has not re-elected a Democrat Governor since 1977

The only reason Christie was last was because he said mean things and went to the beach when the beaches were closed.

Our elections are basically high school student council elections, it is all based on personality and popularity. Has nothing to do with ability and accomplishments

I remember vividly Kean’s “New Jersey and You; Perfect Together” commercials.

Tom Kean would definitely win most respected former NJ governor, but that’s like being the tallest midget in the clown car.

Worst ever has to be McGreevey, though Corzine is right behind him. Seriously, NJ has the worst list of governors of any state in the universe. A GOP highlight:

New York has nothing to be proud of in that category.

As disappointed as I am at how Chris Christie turned out, he's still not worse than Jim "Flim Flam" Florio (hat tip to Bob Grant, I believe) and Jim McGreevey, the perv who would cruise highway rest stops.

And I'd also rank him above that crook, Jon Corzine, who somehow made billions disappear from MF Global and was never held to account.

California does. Pete Wilson and the late George deukmejian and Ronald Reagan. We’ve been in a bit of a gubernatorial drought of late, though

Tom Kean was vacuous beyond belief. I met him once and got to speak with him. I still find it hard to believe that he could have risen as he did.

Unfortunately Murphy will more than likely break that streak. The voters north of the Driscoll bridge offset those South of the bridge and will see to it that Murphy is re-elected, one way or another.

I think that hiring the idiots responsible for the epic traffic jams on the GW bridge has something to do with it, too.

I see you still believe that nonsense story that was basically made up to damage Christie right?

There was no traffic jams on the bridge, sorry, I don’t care what the CNNMSNBCDNC Tells you, that is totally fake news.
